Improving adult basic digital skills
Overview
We are seeking your views on plans to improve adult basic digital skills.
Please read the consultation document below which details the rationale for the government's approach to improving adult basic digital skills, and the annex which sets out the proposed national standards for basic digital skills.
Why your views matter
We’re seeking the views of all those with an interest in improving adult basic digital skills on:
- The draft national standards
- Improving basic digital skills qualifications
- Introducing a national entitlement to basic digital skills
Ofqual, the regulator for qualifications, examinations and assessments in England, will be running a parallel consultation on aspects such as the approach to titling the qualifications, coverage of the national standards and the structure of the qualifications. You will be able to view and respond to this separate consultation on Ofqual's website shortly.
We will use your feedback to inform how we develop and deliver improved adult basic digital skills training.
